Juliet When We Made Love You Used to Cry

You know when you mess around on AM and worse yet you start to blog about it you can get a little jaded about love and relationships.  But I am the eternal optimist.  In my life I have seen that while humans have a limitless ability to do mean and stupid things, they also can do the most amazing things that just send your heart aflutter!

Wait Ryan the first paragraph gave me no sense that you were:  1 - going to talk about sex (which of course you rarely do) or Ashley Madison, 2 - food (which as you may know the biggest food holiday is in two days), or 3 - sports.  If you are not going to talk about that stuff then what else are you even remotely qualified to talk about (as if you were even qualified to talk about the listed points either)!  Surely you are not going to talk about lovey dovey feeling stuff.  What in the world would you know about that for Christ sake!

OK, you're right, I'm going to talk about sports!

I love this time of year, perhaps even more than bowl games.  This is the time of year for those epoch state rivalry games.  I like them even better than bowl games because at bowl games everybody is happy to be there and even if your team loses hopefully you had the chance to get drunk and laid in New Orleans or Miami or well Shreveport for that matter (who cares you got drunk and laid)!  However, in contrast those end of the year rivalry games offer joy, hate, glory, triumph, and perhaps even redemption all wrapped up into one.  When redemption and glory are on the line, well, you know a game means something.  For example Big State U plays our big state rival this week.  Even though our rival truly sucks I still will watch and hopefully enjoy BSU doling out another generous helping of butt kickage because BSU's rival is such a bunch of snotty pricks.  For me and Big State U fans the game offers an annual dose of pleasure at seeing the bad guys suffer.  However, on the slim chance Big State looses our pretentious snotty rivals will gain a good dose of redemption though they have suffered through a miserable year.  Wouldn't life be great if you could always have a chance at redemption at the end and right all the wrong that had gone on over the past year.

But as I have learned over the year's growing up in the South one state rivalry trumps them all.  This one state lives and breaths football as much as any other but no state has had two teams as competitive over the years as the state of Alabama.  Between the two schools they have won the past four National Championships.  And for that reason the annual Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama is the measuring stick for all hate filled state rivalries.  Heck, an Alabama fan actually tried to poison the historic trees on the campus of Auburn University a few years ago.  Now that ain't tree huggin', that's pure old fashioned home cooked hate!

And it is that game that is the background of a true LOVE STORY.

Wait?  Hold on a second!  What happened to the sports?  Psyche, I am talking about lovey dovey stuff - I just sucked you in on the sports!  :)

See this year's Auburn-Alabama game offers the ultimate Romeo and Juliet.  Yet the fact that this love has lasted is even more uplifting than that ancient Shakespearean tail.

You see Katherine Webb, that viral star beauty who conquered Sports Illustrated, reality TV diving competitions and gave Brent Musburger a woody on national TV is in fact an Auburn graduate and her boyfriend is the QB at Alabama.

Now I suppose it's not so unusual to date a guy from a rival school and her boyfriend A.J. McCarron is (I guess) a cute guy to be sure and likely to be the recipient of an NFL contract next spring.  But let me tell you something, that's a Tom Brady body above there buddy!  And A.J. ain't Tom Brady yet.

Ms. Webb could have had about any guy she wanted over the past year.  And by that I mean guys of the Tom Brady/Brad Pitt caliber.

You see Juliet was a sweet girl and her love of Romeo was timeless.  But let's face it Romeo was the fer shizzel in Verona and his family was loaded.  Juliet didn't have the option of hooking up with an NBA star or signing onto a movie deal with some glitzy director/producer.

Which gets me back to the fact that I find it mildly sweet, in even my jaded heart full of spiders, that Ms. Webb still adores her 'bama QB.  In spite of all she could have she stays true to her college beau.  I nearly shed a tear when I read this article about her fears at attending this year's Iron Bowl.

OMG, that hot and willing to forgo the attentions of the rich and famous and willing to face down her Capulet family from Auburn and maintain her star-cross love affair with her Crimson Tided Romeo Montague from U of Alabama.  I am truly touched.

It's times like this that I realize us idiot guys really don't deserve the love of a good women, but thank God we get it sometimes!

Now let's away yonder past Tuscaloosa's McFarland Blvd to Dreamland BBQ or to Toomer's Corner and hug it out!  And for the love of God decide what to call yourselves Crimson Tide, Tigers, Elephants, Eagles you know this split personality thing is never good for any relationship!

That being said based on my deep analytical game analysis, the Tide has too many cool names on their roster including Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Vinnie Sunseri, and Deion Belue to lose.  But that 10.5 point spread is a bit high.  The Tigers beat Johnny Football in College Station and the Tide struggled with that high powered A&M offense.  My tip - Alabama wins but bet the Tigers to beat that spread.

Imagine Me and You, I Do

The Setting:  A quaint tavern in Ryan's rustic bedroom community outside DC.  The town is bedazzled in the lights of Christmas and the tavern is full of happy guests.

As we walked into the room I casually glanced over to her.  She radiated beauty and gleamed with happiness.  I knew we were right where she wanted to be; for once I was right, her prince.  As we walked in she lit up the room, she always does.  She always gets that attention.  I was proud to be with her.  I know women look at her and think she has it all (style, beauty, and class) and men look at me and think I've got it all in her.

Yeah, that is not quite the image of Cinderella when the prince notices the beautiful girl from across the room.  But when you are married you tend to become ONE singular image to the outside world.  You are no longer known as Ryan or Shannon, you are the Beaumonts or really more often ******'s dad or mom.  But if you are having a little soiree and need some witty banter about NASCAR and ribs sprinkled with dialogue on the best facial cremes used by the in-crowd and the coolest styles, gadgets, and reading lists in the New Yorker you'll want to invite the Beaumonts.  I'll let you guess who among Ryan and Shannon is the authority on which subject!  :)

Hey I'm into NASCAR and alternative fuels
What am I talking about today?  Couples dating!

No not that couples dating, I'm not cool like some of those Hot-wifing sites.  I'm just talking about the normal old Honeymooners type stuff.  You know what I mean, the couples you enjoy spending time with.  Really it ends up being just like high school, stressing out over what they think of you, are you right for them, do we measure up to a University professor and an Assistant District Attorney?  Are you an introverted couple or an extroverted couple; alpha or beta?

Hey buddy get your hands off your wife
Yes on that night we were joining a group of parents for our annual gathering as our offspring practiced for their holiday ballet recital.  Yes a night of free after-care!  This was about our third year of doing this and yes Ryan who typically doesn't care to walk to the drum-beat of alpha or beta had organized the first grand fete two years back.  There is Mr and Mrs Lawyer (the younger) and the other Mr and Mrs Lawyer (the elder).  The Elder lawyers are very interesting because no matter where you talk about they have been there and either played golf or skied.  Best thing though is that Mr. Elder Lawyer is a full partner and probably a full on alcoholic and after his 3rd Scotch everything is on him!   There is also Mr IT Analyst and his wife Mrs Doctor.  There is Mrs Marketing Analyst and her husband Mr State Trooper.  Yes quit the nice gang.

Anyway, as I said this is about our third time doing this and the second time which is now about a year and a half ago I mentally thought out a post.  So now here I am actually doing it.

I could be seen with them
It occurred to me that once your married and the kids are old enough to be a little on their own you start to want to get back into the social scene.  And that is when you realize that you need to meet other couples.  You start to think which couples would compliment my passions of NASCAR and BBQ?  Does their hair color and choice of style compliment my Olive green eyes?  Will they accept the fact that I'm fiscally conservative yet still think Mitt Romney should pay some taxes.  Will they get that some things I'm serious as a heart attack over (like Big State U football) and most other things not so much.  Will they understand that I respect their reverence for the environment but NO I ain't givin' up Filet Mignon and that is not an insult to their cause.

Cute but don't make me look bad
Really it gets you to thinking the same way you did back in college.  My ideal couple would be good looking.  They don't have to have big tits.  In fact if she is a C cup I could care less.  But if the dude has big man boobs they are out immediately!  I would like them to be fit.  In fact I'd like to be able to go skiing or perhaps a hike along the Appalachian Trail. But no I ain't doing no triathlons   They don't have to be too smart, in fact to be honest I'd like them smart but not quite as smart as me.  They need to understand sports.  They don't have to be Bobby Knight but at least know what to cheer about.  I can take some alternate views on politics but I don't want them to be too much in my face.

So where does that leave you.  Well back in the day after I had sized up every chick in the DZ and DDD house and turned my nose at everyone I finally settled in on the best looking one that could tolerate me for more than 5 minutes (which means the one that would screw me a second time).  Well, as I said this is not about hot-wifing so in the end the ideal couple is the one who is available and that I can tolerate and who can tolerate me.  See, same as in college.

Actually the song above is pretty special to me.  I remember way back in 3rd grade I had a teacher, Mrs. C. She was very pretty; my first teacher crush.  Thinking back I suspect she had pretty nice tits as well but back then a shy 10 year old boy could develop just a little crush over a sweet smile, long brunette hair, and a lovely voice.  What made me enamored of her was that occasionally she would bring in her guitar and sing to us kiddies.  "Happy Together" was one of the songs I remember her singing and she looked so lovely to my young eyes as she sang.  Funny what I guy will remember.  So this is for you Mrs. C, although I doubt you'd approve of the forum.

l Have Loved You Dearly

Or "All I Need is the Air that I Breath and to Love You"

OK Ryan be careful what you ask for you might get it.  You asked the ladies what they wanted on Valentine's Day and they have spoken.  And rather than responding individually or in my comments, I'll just respond through a post.

The problem is that what I'm hearing from my female readers is that what you want is to feel special, to be listened to, to be understood.  I am hearing that diamonds are nice but if they are an after-thought and a means to an end, if they are a simple replacement for caring they have no glimmer.  A simple heartfelt note expressing our love and care for you is more meaningful than flowers or chocolate.  To be made the center of our world is what you wish for.  To know that you are in fact as essential as "the air that I breath" is the greatest gift of all.  Dare I say you want to know "that you complete me."  What we need to do is connect our thoughts into a meaningful gift that connects our emotions to who you are as a person.

Wow, simple - why didn't I think of that!

Problem is we have several key words in that paragraph above that don't mesh well with the male mind:  listening, thinking, expressing emotions, planning ahead (from something other than tickets to the Redskins game).  Yikes after that I think that $300 spa certificate sounds a bit more simple to me!  How about I just do that and let's revisit this subject next year.  You know kick the can down the road like they do in congress!   :)

Oh well, as I say marketing is a place we are taken to where opportunity meets desperation.  And therein lies why Mervis Diamonds, Vermont Teddy Bears, Russell Stover Chocolate, and your local spa make out.  You (guy that is) are desperate and that diamond is an easy opportunity to do something less than just express yourself and certainly less than anything approaching a demonstrable act of planning the connection between your thoughts and her love.

Oh well, on another note my daughter is going to her first dance tonight with a date.  The boy is the star of the school's basketball team; very smart, good looking, and can dance.  He has it all.  On Thursday he went to school early and decorated my daughter's desk with all sorts of Valentine's stuff.  When my daughter walked in everyone around the table was staring, it was like a parting of the sea when she walked in.  I could tell by the dinner conversation last night she was mortified and didn't want to talk about it.  Shannon was going on and on about how sweet and thoughtful this boy was.  My daughter was going deeper and deeper into her embarrassment.  I didn't push, I could tell she would have wished for something not so overt and over the top.  The boy will learn, he is OK.  My daughter likes him for who he is so all he needs to be is that guy.  A simple card passed under the table and a smile probably would have been better.  Well, at least we didn't announce what he did for my daughter over Facebook like one of her friend's mom did.

Hey Ryan, I noticed that you realized that the ladies were asking to be cared for, to feel special and here you are just responding to everyone on a post.  It's going to come across like one of those stupid robo-calls or some e-mail chain.  Wouldn't it be better to address each woman individually and let them know how their comment affected you and touched you personally.  How much time would that take and it would make them feel so much more special!

Probably not and thanks to the one fellow blogger who called me out on that!

Hey wait (checking crotch), I'm still a guy; this is way more cheap and efficient!  There you go!  :)

But I do love ya'll dearly.  So take a listen to this ever-cheesy ode to a man's love for his woman.  Notice he's telling her how dearly he loves her as he is getting on a boat and sailing away.  Damn guys!

And here is that Hollies song:

'Cause You Got Me Flyin' with Ur Love

Happy Valentine's Day!
Your input needed!  See directions below!

This is my 6th post this month and thus far I've re-posted two old posts, used Kat's Chain for source material, got Ponyboy to write half of a post for me, and cut and pasted a recipe from a New Orleans on-line culinary magazine.  Pretty lazy, right?  Surely, I'll get back to actually doing something here!

Nope.  First though I want to do another re-post of sorts or really just link to a past Valentine's Day post (here).  My after-Valentine's Day post from 2011 is actually my most viewed post of all time at over 600 direct hits.  Because the title is Happy Ashley Madison Day just about anyone "googling" Ashley Madison gets to my blog at this post.  So it tends to be the unfortunate door many wayward travelers enter into my silly little Adventures.  Anyway, that post talks about how the day after Valentine's Day is always a big day for Ashley Madison.  So all you dudes should take a look tomorrow on AM because all those ladies that are underwhelmed by their guys today might be looking for you tomorrow!  :)

But let me now get to the point of my post today which involves more laziness.  Today I actually want YOU, all my loyal friends and followers, to write my post!  Well not actually the guys just the ladies.

What I want all you ladies to tell us guys is, what do we need to do today so that you won't be turning to Ashley Madison tomorrow.  Wait, guys don't think that far ahead.  So tell us what we need to do today to get you into that same mood Cher Lloyd has in that song below (meaning hot sexy romance)!  :)

"psst, shave with this and she'll blow you!"
Let me preface this by saying the world of marketing sends us guys a lot of mixed signals and because we are naturally dim we need some guidance.

Here are some of the examples I have seen that imply that their product will get me laid:

Vermont Teddy Bear:  I was at the gym last night and saw a commercial for these teddy bears.  Apparently if you buy your lady a life sized bear she will jump into bed in her slinky teddy (women's apparel that is), hug her teddy (bear), and then I assume be ready for you to jump on top of her.  Seems to me a stretch unless you are one of those weird "furry"-liking types.  But what do I know maybe teddy bear does = sex but I doubt it.

Mervis diamonds scare me!  :(
Diamonds:  OK so this is a traditional go-to item.  Apparently, according to one commercial if you ask your lady to marry her on an airplane the stewardess will announce to everyone "he went to Jared."  I assume next you get to join the mile high club.  If you are from the DC area you'll be familiar with Mervis Diamonds.  They have the confidance or audacity to have a phone number 1-800-HER-LOVE.  However, based on what I've heard from the radio that Zed Mervis dude from the commercials gives me the mental image of that evil Nazi Major from Raiders of the Lost Ark!  I do like that slogan though, "nobody pays retail anymore, why should you."  I personally like Ron Whites diamond tag line the best though, "diamonds; that'll shut her up."  Anyway, I send it out to you; will diamond do the trick?

Flowers:  I know FTD sure thinks this is the trick but is something that will wilt in three days the message you want to communicate?  Definitely need some help here ladies?

Chocolate:  As they say "a moment on the lips; a lifetime on the hips."  Does this send the right message?  Perhaps a chocolate bath would be better, IDK.  According to a Russell Stover comercial I saw yesterday their cheap ass chocolate will turn any blond or brunette into a sweet Ganache.  Is that true?

Do the Dishes?:  I saw this on Huffington Post (here).  OK, I'm a left of center guy but I do have to say this seems like some pointed-headed BS from people who don't get laid a lot!  But it sure is cheaper than diamonds!  What say you!  :)

Cruise Ships:  I just added this one in for *hits and giggles.  Oh right, if you were on that one Canival Cruise ship you would only be able to giggle right now because you know there is no place to, well, let's just says it sounds bad out there.  Talk about envirnonmental waste, who's going to clean that *hit up!  :(

So ladies please tell us guys what we need to do to be "flyin' with ur love!"  Here is your big chance, don't tell us tomorrow we didn't ask!  :)

And I, Hate Everything About You

OK, so I said I was going to take a break for the summer.  These posts I've been putting out, except for Kat's Chain the other day, have mostly been written a few weeks ago.  I've really just been chillin' out by the pool recently.

But occasionally as you know important world events demand that I comment.  And so it is today that I find myself having to reflect on the eternal question -

Does true love last!

And sadly we have found that it doesn't!   :(

Yes apparently Bibi and Poldi, that beautiful and previously thought eternal Tortoise couple from the Austrian Zoo have in fact answered that question!

See link below:
http://shine.yahoo.com/love-sex/115-years-together-tortoises-separate-ways-182500381.html

Bitch, I gave you the best 115 year of my life!
Apparently 115 years is the max on true love as Bibi finally pulled the plug on the relationship by attempting to bite Poldi's shell.  Which, by the way, also answers that age old question.

Yes, it is the woman's fault!

The zookeepers did apparently try couples therapy and aphrodisiacs to no avail.

As one keeper said "we get the feeling they can't stand each other anymore."  Of course you could take this as a study in evolutionary science and human exceptionalism.  Yes, I said humans are exceptional; it usually only takes us about 10 years to discover we can't stand each other anymore!

The final thing I have to say to Bibi is, I don't think there is a check mark for erotic biting on Ashley Madison if you plan on going that route now that you are free!

And Poldi, keep your chin up there are a lot of pretty young reptiles out there just looking for a well aged sugar daddy like you!

Just to Satisfy Her 14 Carat Mind

Today's big question is will you be spending more this Valentine's Day on your spouse or your affair partner?

I read an article recently that said most men will spend more on their mistress than their wife.  However, they will spend Valentine's Day with their wife.  They will make this up by spending the 13th or 15th with their mistress thus one can call those days Ashley Madison Day!  I think the bottom line was that they spend the actual day with their spouse due to some type of "Madonna complex" and make it up to their mistress later.  They buy practical presents for the spouse or simply flowers and put more time and effort into romantic and emotional gifts for their mistress.

I could analyze the hell out of that but I want to spend some time telling you what I do (because Lord knows the Ryan strategy is always a winner)! :)

As anyone who knows me will tell you, you can never really get a straight answer from me.  Perhaps I missed my calling as a politician.  I like to think of it as being influenced by people that always kept me on my toes.  Bottom line, if you ask me a question I am likely to answer it with another question, an answer that is completely different from the question asked, or perhaps just with "it depends."

And so it is with the mistress/wife scenario.  For me, it depends on your frame of reference.

To be technical though I spend more on my wife.  Shannon is in a word materialistic; with her it ain't ever the thought that counts (unless you are thinking exactly what she is thinking), it's the merchandise.  So for example on her birthday I gave her a certificate for a $350 all day spa treatment to a really exclusive place in the area.  However, to be honest very little thought was put into it.  But the $350 was well worth it; not getting her what she wants is always more costly in the end, she always finds a way to make me pay!  Come to think of it everything with her tends to be costly in the end - I guess it's why I love her so much!

On the other hand recently, for a lady that will remain nameless for the purposes of this post, I simply bought a bottle of berry wine, a mini-chocolate/raspberry cake, and some cheap earrings.  So you are saying, "Ryan you are screwing this poor woman who so graciously agreed to screw you!"  :)

But here in lies the difference.  Although I only spent a total of about $100 (when you throw in lunch and a birthday balloon I bought for her the week prior when we were out), for her it was in fact "the thought that counts."

She had recently talked about really liking this particular berry wine and that she couldn't find it anywhere local.  In jumps Ryan the hero (at least any time when being a hero only costs $14/bottle) and knows just how and where to procure said berry wine.  So even though I really didn't spend that much money on the present to Sa...(that lady) she really appreciated the fact that I had listened to her and had gotten exactly what she had wanted.  And now she knows where to get that wine!

Better yet, I just brought her a bottle for our next afternoon out, or rather "in" if you know what I mean! :)  Well that cost me another $79 as well but boy was it worth it!  But that, as they say, is another story.

So what are your thoughts on the subject!

I wonder if one tends to be more attracted to the person who does in fact think "it's the thought that counts."  Maybe it's when the thoughts don't count anymore that we start considering all this infidelity stuff.  Hmm... perhaps a cautionary tale.

What a Lovely Way of Sayin' What You're Thinking of Me

"Ohh.... havin' my baby!"  Remember that cheesy 70's song by Paul Anka.

So the big news today is that the Duggar's are expecting child #20.  You know I'm no fertility doctor but I think there is generally only a 1 in 3 chance of getting pregnant on any given screw even when you're trying.  So from my calculations that's a lot of fuckin' for a married real estate agent.  Maybe I chose the wrong profession.

And of course you're probably thinking out there, we just eclipsed 7 billion people we should be worried about overpopulation!

Well sure if you're looking at the small picture, but I'm a big picture guy.  Or rather a big question kind of guy.

So the big question of the day!

Is all that married sex really healthy?  I mean if we were all screwing our spouses that much what would happen to the golf course industry, lawn care/home improvement, not to mention porn on demand along with all the masturbational aide devices.  Noel Biderman?  Poor sap would be on welfare quicker than a Lady Gaga orgasm!  We are talking world upside down folks!

Think about it, there are a lot of people counting on you NOT fucking your wife at all, ever!  Or at the very most only about 2 or 3 times a year.  This is a threat to our Western-style Democracy and the peaceful free market system that America has enjoyed for so many years!

So Mr. Duggar, quit screwing around with the normal evolution of the human species!  And Mrs. Duggar, at least make him buy you a diamond or a ski trip to Aspen before you do the nasty again - all this free love is like socialism or something!

Thoughts out there?

Article from Yahoo below:
Crickey! #20 On the Way!
The Duggars have their 20th child on the way!

"19 Kids and Counting" stars Michelle and Jim Bob will welcome their next child in the spring, People reported.

"We are so excited," the Duggar mother, 45, who is three-and-a-half months along, told the mag. "I feel good. I am past the sickness stage now."

The couple's most recent child, Josie, born on Dec. 10, 2009, is doing well after being born premature at just 25 weeks.

"It is a miracle. Josie is the most energetic, busy little almost-2-year-old," Michelle told the mag. "She is short, and yet she can keep up with the big girls and she thinks she is just as big as they are. We are amazed at what she can do."

According to dad Jim Bob, his wife is doing better than ever.

"Michelle is probably in better health now than she was 10 years ago," the 46-year-old said. "She has been getting on an elliptical for about an hour a day and is very careful of what she eats."

During her last pregnancy, the Duggar mother was diagnosed with preeclampsia and is now under the care of a high-risk pregnancy doctor. She is eating very healthy with plenty of protein, vegetables and skipping the caffeine - along with getting plenty of rest.

"We are just going to do the best we can," she explained. "I am taking a nap every day, and we are just taking good care."

Jim Bob added, "If we had lived by fear after Michelle had preeclampsia after her second delivery, we would have missed out on all our wonderful blessings. So many of her pregnancies have gone extremely well."
One aspect of their latest pregnancy that will be different is Michelle's first scheduled C-section.

"I've never had a planned C-section," Michelle told the mag. "So this one will be different."
In addition to their youngest daughter Josie, the couple is also parents to Joshua, 23 (who has two children, Mackynzie, 2 and Michael, 4 months, with wife Anna, 23), twins Jana and John-David, 21; Jill, 20; Jessa, 19; Jinger, 17; Joseph, 16; Josiah, 15; Joy-Anna, 14; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 12; Jason, 11; James, 10; Justin, 8; Jackson, 7; Johanna, 6; Jennifer, 4; and Jordyn, 3.

The season finale of "19 Kids and Counting" airs tonight at 9 PM on TLC.

No Not the Same Mistake Again

Wow, leave it to Mexico to find the next great discovery in the "rent to own" industry!  Mexico City is considering granting 2 year marriage licenses, giving unhappy couples an easy exit strategy and avoiding costly litigation.  So how many out there would have bailed after 2 years if it would have been this easy?  Good question.

But for guys like my friend here, no doubt this would be cause for a great Fiesta!

http://news.yahoo.com/til-2013-us-part-mexico-mulls-2-marriage-232608285.html

Does that make Ashley Madison a sub-lease?!

I guess the only real question is who collects the first and last months rent deposit for damages! :)

Happy Ashley Madison Day (Feb 15th)!

Or:  I wish I was a Teddy Bear Not Livin' or Lovin' nor Goin' Nowhere

By the way, I am glad adding the “Adult Content” warning hasn’t seemed to keep down my blog hits.  I am a big stats guy at work and life so I have enjoyed pouring over the endless stats that Blogger generates.  However, the other day I saw where “Baha Men Stanley” was listed as a Search Keyword source for my blog.  I then had this horrible thought that some kid searching for information on the Disney kids cartoon My Man Stanley might be directed to my blog entry about first reading Ashley and Me (7th post on 12/16, “Who Let the Dogs Out…) where I make reference to the Baha men singing the shows theme song.  So as a result of my paranoia I added the adult content warning even though I don’t think I am really bad with potty mouth. J  Of course any kid can still click on accepting adult content but as they say “a lock only keeps and honest man honest.”  At least I did my part.  Anyway “Blond Beach Bunny” is currently the #1 Keyword Search with 6 hits so far.

OK, the real point of today’s blog is while today is a National Holiday celebrating love, tomorrow will be a day to celebrate affairs!?  Last May over 30,000 women signed up to Ashley Madison on the day after Mother’s Day.  I speculate that tomorrow many women (and men) upon being dissatisfied with the romance in their current marriage/relationship will dip their toes into the infidelity waters and sign up for Ashley Madison.

I wonder what the over/under is on AM enrollments for tomorrow?

Another thought, Blue Mountain needs to come up with some Ashley Madison Day e-cards.  I have a few ladies I would like to send one to!

But just in case you thought I was a total jerk, Shannon did get a dozen roses this morning with some chocolate and a nice bottle of a Sonoma Pinot and we will be at a nice restaurant tonight.  It won’t get me anywhere but any great ball player always runs out those infield grounders.  Who knows when you might get lucky?
